We've updated our pages out of sadness for the loss of our wonderful Natasha, a white cat who we received from SPCA in Alabama.  She was several years old when we brought her home and helped her to lose her fear of close contact.  She became a friend, cuddle cat, alarm clock and much more.

Over the years, we both have had pets, from my dog Trouble, a mixed breed puppy who my mother rescued from the side of the road, to several cats that Connie took in. 

In addition, we've rescued lost and abandoned little ones.  Dixie, shown here, was flea-bitten and starving but still managed to wag her tail and give Connie a 'who can resist me' look when she wandered up on the porch one day.  I gave her a flea bath and we kept her for two weeks.
