Long Lake, Naples, Maine. Long Lake offers excellent fishing for togue, landlocked salmon, and brown trout. It also provides habitat for largemouth bass, yellow and white perch, and sunfish, and burbot in the winter. Several campgrounds are located on the shore of Long Lake, and boats can be rented in Naples.

A downeast Maine Yankee living in excile in northern Bavaria, trying to make a living, raise a family, and maybe catch a fish or two.

Back in Germany, after a summer and fall in Maine.

Fishing will be starting back up again on Saturday, if my health holds. I've had a bad case of diahrea for the past couple of weeks, but I think it's turning around now. I plan to spend an hour or two on the Aisch Saturday, trying for chub, roach, and carp.
