Mission Statement
To assist and enable, with the guidance of the Holy Spirit, all within the congregation to understand the meaning purpose and practice of worship, and hence to worship God in spirit and in truth
To support the pastoral team in Sunday worship services, and elsewhere in the other ministries of the church as required
To promote the study of worship by persons serving within the ministry, and other individuals and groups within the congregation
To plan for the ministry and training of lay persons as worship leaders
To encourage and support the recognition of musicians and choristers in the local congregation, and discover and develop persons to serve in the ministry of worship
To encourage wider use and understanding of visual arts, dramatic arts, and architectural design as an expression of faith and means of proclamation of the gospel |
