.:Payment:.
Payment is $1 per accepted poem, story, or illustration. Articles and Reviews receive $2. All accepted writers receive one contributor's copy, on publication. We buy First English Language Serial Rights, rights revert to the author on publication. If you would like to be paid with Paypal, please let us know & include your payment address.

.:Poetry:.
We are looking for thought provoking and fresh poetry in the sci-fi and fantasy genres. Horror poetry is not excluded, but it needs to be fresh and exiting, and not cliched. We are also very interested in form poetry, and would like to see more traditional forms used in the speculative genres. If you choose to write in form be cautious about rhyme--perfect endrhyme or female rhyme schemes are rarely accepted here. Send no more than five (5) poems per submission. Due to space constraints, please keep poems under 200 lines.

.:Scifaiku:.
We are also looking for Scifaiku and Tanka for our "Scifaiku Corner" section of the magazine. Send no more than five (5) per submission. Please visit scifaiku.com for more information on this style.

.:Short-Short Fiction:.
We accept short-short stories (flash fiction) up to 1,000 words. We will probably only publish one short-short per issue.

.:Reviews:.
We accept reviews of books and chapbooks up to 500 words. Poetry reviews are preferred but not exclusive. There will be no more than 1 or 2 reviews per issue.

.:Articles:.
We accept articles and essays up to 1,000 - 1,500 words. We will probably only publish one article per issue. Topics should have something to do with speculative writing, poetry forms, publishing, or genre writing in academia.

.:Art:.
Artwork must be black and white saved as a JPEG file at 300dpi. Send as attachment. There are no steadfast size requirements - if it can fit somewhere in the issue then I'll buy it. Please keep art submissions under 100KB.
