Howdy!! My name is Audrey Young-Tarter, and I live in the Surfing Capital of the world, Santa Cruz, California, with my floaty pen widower husband, Raphael. I had my first floaty pen as a child from Disneyland. I have over 1,200 pens in California alone! As I began traveling to foreign ports, I would pick up a few of these pens. I love floaty pens of advertising, foreign locations, Art & Science Museums, dinosaurs, humour, Americana, odd-ball things. November 1, 2006. Finally we are back from traveling through Europe. We started on a tour of Turkey. Then we did a one week museum tour of Berlin, Germany. We drove briefly through Prague in the Czech Republic, and enjoyed the old town and Carlos V Bridge. Then we spent a week at a Thermal Bath Resort in Piestany, Slovakia. Hot mineral pools and hot tubs - relaxation and musical evenings. Oh, & we did drink the nastry Sulphur Water! Yuk-ko!
But it is nice to get back to our winter residence in Florida. The weather is a balmy 75 degrees F. Thanksgiving is right around the corner, so let the turkey noshing begin! I have most of my floaty pens here with me now, and am open for floaty pen trading again.
