the police showed up during zero society's set. two bands to go before we played. needless-to-say we were uncertain whether or not we would be able to perform. complaints had been issued regarding noise and serving alcohol to minors (by the venue's adjoining bar). the owners were upset, the police said they would return, and at around 10pm we stepped up to play... very hastily. we rushed through our set and cut a song and as the owners yelled and hollered to stop playing. we continued regardless. it somehow seemed appropriate. thank you to everyone who was there. it was a reunion for more than just the band. we love all of you. if you want a copy of the album, let us know. until then... thanks for everthing.

at long last, the city in the sea will be playing our final show and release our final album... finally. it will be held at the upper saucon social club in center valley and will feature the entire lineup (andrew, aj, kyle, and keith). bands are still being confirmed, and more info will be posted as it comes. the old myspace is humming away yet again. songs from the album will probably be put on that if i can figure out how to. mark your calenders, tell your friends and get ready to lay the city to waste...

for those who haven't heard, the city in the sea is no more. we plan on finishing the album and playing a final show. details will be posted as they come. we all love each other but were not content with the way things were going. i (andrew) am busying myself with my solo work (which keith joins in on from time to time). kyle is drumming for another band called madame inc. thank you to those who attended the show. thank you to josh henderson for learning nine songs on the bass in one week. aj will no longer be playing with us. there is no malice harbored, worry not. he simply lost the passion to pluck the strings. i will be completing the bass tracks on the album and we will press onward. when the album is (finally) completed we will set up a record release show and have new merch, etc. i know i have been promising this for a while now, but we are closer than we've ever been.
