The AWAKENING 101 course has a continuous, ongoing enrollment of 600-800 participants (around 200 or so come into the program on a regular basis and stay three to six months, while during the same period about the same amount complete the course to their satisfaction and exit the program). Simple logistics of dealing with hundreds and hundreds of web pages on a myriad of Zen and Buddhist related subjects with everybody at a different level and a different place at the same time --- along with so many people over the internet just surfing in and out of the serious stuff can be overwhelming. Plus, as most of you know, if an email address can be readily scaned by search engines the next thing you know you can't even find the legitimate mail in your box. Hence, the why of how difficult I've made it. Below I offer some suggestions on how to get any number of your questions or concerns along the path answered. However, if you feel a message or personal response would be helpful in your endeavors, either e-mail me through the MySpace link or click the Wanderling link directly below and follow the steps. Be advised your message could be lost in the shuffle or forgotten to death using the above method anyway as there are a number of SPAM FILTERS IN PLACE that block just about everything --- BUT, and this is the secret, if you type AWAKENING 101 --- in capital letters with a space between AWAKENING and 101 --- in the subject line of your email it has a much better chance of being sorted out of the tons of unsolicited material and actually be read rather than being blocked or deleted:

Masters are always self-sustaining and are never supported by their students or by public charity."

NOTE: The majority of the websites under my auspices are found on or supported by free access servers either through myself or associates and have, as part of their free service, bandwidth limitations. It is not clear what bandwidth has to do with the delivery of the Dharma to those who are so interested, however, anytime bandwidth is exceeded the page gets shut down. Bandwidth is exceeded by having pages accessed too many times, which seems to happen on a regular basis. Please bare with it and continue to try to get the page you are looking for if you run into the situation.
One way to reach most of the pages is to start by going through the AWAKENING 101: Approved Site List then clicking through from pages listed or by entering their titles into Google. If they still don't come up try Google's "Cached" link.
REGARDING THE WANDERLING'S ZEN ENLIGHTENMENT MESSAGE BOARD:
It is with great displeasure that the Message Board has been shut down. In the opening paragraphs of the Awakening 101 course I present the following:
"...if you are here to argue, lambast, debunk or carry on against the (below) premise then there is a very good chance this is not the place for you. Such an individual with such views would probably be better served by expressing themselves on one of the online newsgroups such as alt.zen or one of the various message boards offered by Yahoo, Lycos, Excite, etc. So too, if you are here to promote, push, or champion some unrelated personal cause, religion, religious figure, or doctrine this is not the place for you.
Although this Message Board was not an exclusive arm of AWAKENING 101, it was always guided by the same basic intent and held forth the same basic principles. Mainly the Board was provided so seekers along the path, especially those exploring Zen Enlightenment outside the Doctrine, could have an open forum AND as a source of easy access to contact me if one was so interested. Unfortunately, what happened is exactly what is cited above. It can be difficult enough to pursue the Dharma with diligence without outside interference, let alone the constant harping of those who may have another agenda, spiritual or otherwise, and/or excessive amounts of unsolicited spam hawking a continuous barrage of lower mortgage rates, enlarging certain body parts, and viewing live cam shots of a variety of body orifices left unnamed.
It is my understanding that anybody that has pursued the Way to this point, then that must be where their interests are. My place is keep the path as unobstructed as possible while that pursuit is ongoing.
