This website is a work in progress, it includes assignments from my
Technical writing, PowerPoint Presentation modified from a PAWS for a Public
Relations class, résumé, cover letter, references and my willingness to
work in a nonprofit environment.
Final Technical Writing assignment
creation of a January 2006 introductory meeting packet for Protecting
Abandoned Newborns Project - PANproject. The meeting will be held at
Paddy's Coffee House in Union City, California. the enclosed material on
the site will be presented in hard copy format for those attending the
meeting. An email message will be sent out a month before the actual
event.
PANproject is taking it from "me 2 we" as I can't do it alone, there are
ideas that need to become reality. I hope "we" can do more to help save
the life of an unwanted newborn by being at the woman's side, assisting
her in the birthing process.
Protecting abandoned newborns Project is firm in its belief that if you
protect the privacy of the pregnant woman and aid in the birthing
process, the unwanted newborn will be taken away by an assistant to
hospital, taking responsibility of the newest & youngest member of
society.
PAN Project is thinking of her procrastination, denial, panic, anxiety &
the rude reality of giving birth. One goal of PANproject is to reach out
to these clueless women & girls, who would give birth alone and dispose
of the newborn, seeing it as a "bloody lump" not a little human being.
Everyone knows or has heard the story of a taxi driver who assisted mom
in her back seat birth. Bottom line, birth happens, its a matter of time
and location. The birth is going to happen whether we are there not, so
lets be where ever she is in labor, meeting her in an open lot, park,
alley, dumpster, field, port-a-potty, behind a building, school
restroom, work place, fire house or even in her bathroom or bedroom. We need to assure her privacy by being
a barrier from prying eyes and assisting her.
