| Trips for Kids Lancaster is part of the Robert F. Kennedy Childrens Action Corp. (RFK), a residential facility for at-risk, disadvantaged boys ranging in age from 7 to 18. The boys reside at the facility on average of 1 year and attend school on campus. Within RFK, Trips for Kids is one of several adventure-based programs that include rock climbing, hiking, camping, canoeing, kayaking, snow shoeing, Project Adventure, and NYPUM (national youth project using minibikes).
