| A beautiful day for the pipes! | ||||||||||||||||
| Highland bagpipes are a great additional to any celebration. They can announce your wedding ceremony before the service, pipe the bride down the isle, march the bride and groom out of the church after the ceremony, and/or play during your receiving line.  I usually recommend one of two of these options; more if the ceremony theme is 100 percent celtic. I can play many Irish and Scottish favorites, but will learn new music if requested.  I started piping with the Celtic Cross Pipeband in Danbury, CT.  I was their Pipe Major for several years before leaving to play with the Putnam County Pipe Band, and now with the Manchester Pipe Band. I own several tartan kilts including: Royal Stewart and McKenzie. I can play the Highland Bagpipe, but also play the Scottish Small Pipes; a much quieter option for smaller indoor engagements. |
