* television records ' three-peice noise' live at dark have recieved first place in Triple M's 'We Built this City on Rock and Roll' competition at Club Sabotage and are set to record their debut record early January '04. The ( yet to be titled) release will be produced by Naut at Airlock Studios and out March 30th 2004. A short interstate tour will follow, so look out for the record and live show in your town next year. More details at www.geocities.com/liveatdark. * live at dark play Freefall 2003 Youth Arts Festival on the 8th November. Its at Underwood Park Rochedale, 10am til 6pm with Iron On, The Butterfly Effect, Retrospect, Dead Day Sun and Shutterspeed. Also look out for a gig at The Zoo mid December, and the life in cars EP launch at the Alley Bar early January.

* televisions has signed the original two piece, kicks this month. 'A unique and vibrant wall of noise, both melodic and sonic. ' Look out for a live auditory assault (and a show at Rics Cafe) early next year and the debut kicks EP which will soon be available in the 'television set.' coming soon children...

* not only does televisions newest signing sound like lou reed on acid trying to drag radiohead to go to the gym with kurt cobains younger, sadder brother (gasp!) edward also creates sound design for local theatre company ithcybrainproductions. His sound work and performance are now showing at Metro Arts in Brisbane City. Check the Show guide for more details. Tickets on sale now and can be purchased at ticketek.
