| GRANVILLE TAYLOR (FAUST THE MAGICIAN) has been making quality magical equipment, tricks and illusions, for his own professional use for over fifty years, including The Devil's Bar, the Black and White Barrels illusion (Pulling a Woman thro' a 3-inch Hole), The Inexhaustible Beer Barrel, The Diogenes illusion, The Girl on the Scimitars, The Steamer Trunk Substitution (Metamorphosis), The Disembodied Princess, Okito's Production Boxes and Chair, The Devil's Bird Cage and Crystal Casket, The 'Aga' Levitation, Flowering Rose Bushes growing real roses, The Orange Tree, The Snake Basket, Lyle's Vanishing Gramophone, The Slave Girls from the Sand Vases, etc., etc. Granville Taylor has a fully equipped workshop for working in wood and metal. He has made replicas of some of the rare magical equipment of the late 'John Martin' (Martinkevitch), the World's Master Magical Mechanic. Faust owns, and uses in his show, over 30 items made by 'Martin', including the only illusion 'Martin' ever made - "The Aerial Suspension". Faust presents De Biere's "Crystal Clock and Spirit Bell" made by 'Martin', and De Biere's own Vanishing Birdcage, presentations imitated by others but never equalled for the quality of the equipment, the presentation, and the sensational effect on the audience. The limited number of items which are offered for sale are made by Granville Taylor with the same care and attention which he puts into making equipment for his own use. Each item is individually crafted, using the finest materials. Many made to order, as required. |
