Native Place, Hapur. Hapur, a small town nearly 65km to the east of Delhi, in Ghaziabad district. For Delhites it's a well known place but when I moved little farther, I realized that my conversation about it (starting with Hapur), had to end up explaining everything twice. So now the conversation starts in reverse order, starting with Delhi -> Ghaziabad -> Hapur. But it was good to see the google identifying this place with hundreds of results. Anyway, it's a nice place famous for grains, sugar and steels products and some temples too. Also privileged to have some Indian independence struggle stories and originating a lot of talent across geo's, including of course my cherished School memories. |
