Children's Christmas Party 2008
On December 6th, the Syracuse Turners held the Turner kid's annual

2008 Syracuse Turners Golf Tournament
Dennis Rodgers did another fine job putting together the Syracuse
Year End golf tournament. It was held at the Greenview GC in West Monroe.
There was a awards dinner that followed.

Mike Smorol shot low net to win the tournament, and Pete Vallar shot an
85 for low gross. There were 6 skins out worth $29. Pete Vallar took two,
with Bob Featherstone, Bob Nolan, Ed Purcell, and

It's Official!!!
2008 National Golf Tournament - 2009 National Bowling Tournament

The Syracuse Turners did host the 2008 National Golf Tournament and
will be hosting the 2009 National Bowling Tournament.

The golf tournament was held on July 9th, 10th, and 11th of 2008. The bowling tournament will be held during April and May of 2009.

2008 Thendara Golf Trip
  Once again, a great time was had by all who participated in the
annual end of summer golf trip to Old Forge. We stayed at the
Forge Motel on the pond in Old Forge. We met at The Muffin Patch
Saturday morning and played 18 at Thendara GC. The weather
wasn't perfect but we played 18 both Saturday and Sunday. We
BBQ'd Saturday night dinner at the hotel this year, which really
turned out to be fun. There was enough food left over that we had
lunch at the course after the round Sunday.

Gemutlichkeit 2008
On November 14th and 15th, the Syracuse Turners will hold their largest
fund raiser of the year. The food is great, the games are fun, and the
atmosphere is electric. Come on down and join in.
