Merry Meet!
We are not your average coven. Our system is a little different than the norm. We value individuality and equality among ourselves. We have no *High* priest or priestess, but instead have several. We do not use the term *high*. We feel that it tends to create unwanted fat egos. Each of us has leadership skills. We are all equals within our circle and out of it. We do not set a length of time that you have to study to achieve certain levels either. We choose not to be dictators who decide when you have learned enough. Instead, each coven member is responsible for making her or his own decisions on that subject. Our degree system is; Dedicant, Initiate, Clergy, Teacher, Elder. We do not have 1st, 2nd, and 3rd degree Initiates as we see those as only titles with no gained knowledge. We make our decisions as a whole group. Our paths are eclectic. We all borrow from many traditions. We also work robed.
We meet together on Esbats. We also attend the Gaia Sanctuary Events.
We are a learning and teaching coven. Each quarter, we learn new craft skills. We do not have a set limit to the number of people in our coven. Being in a small town, we feel we cannot refuse someone seeking access to a coven. If you are wishing to work with our coven, we do ask that you first attend the open events and classes at the Gaia Sanctuary Pagan Church listed above. We all have to know someone for a while before that person is to be dedicated.
