In Whose Pages May Be Found A Sylph Inviolate, Kippers Galore, The Hunting Of The Tarq, Richard Feynman On A Good Day, A Jam Session With John Coltrane, H.P. Lovecraft, And Edward Lear, Some Snippets Of Common Sense, Moon Magic, And Cats Of All Kinds In A Perpetual State Of Brownian Motion.

"My Angles Are Many/My Sides Are Not Few". Thus spake Norton Juster's Dodecahedron. I share his dilemma...I have more interests than could possibly fit upon a single page on the World Wide Web, so I'll keep it simple on this outing.

I am a devotee of raunchy blues guitar and of Appalachian dulcimers, of pipe organs, Fairlights, Stratocasters and Washburns, steel drums, bodhrans and harpsichords. I keep ghostly company with an elegant white longfurred odd-eyed feline rogue and corporeal company with a dark and handsome human comic book dealer who doubles amazingly well as an electrical engineer. I am a kitchen witch, a high-end audiophile, a journeyman Mathemagician, a superheroes historian, and a children's book expert. I am frequently to be found immersed in my books on astronomy, folklore and mythology, or else my two-volume set of ALL THE WORDS by Monty Python. I am an iron gargoyle in temperament, dyspeptic, sarcastic, and vain. But I have been moved to tears on occasion [just don't tell anyone...I have a reputation to uphold, after all] by the perfect image or written word or phrase of music.

Like many people in the 21st century [where did the 20th go?], I have a blog at LiveJournal, which is updated fairly regularly.

DOCTOR WHO, SANDMAN, RED DWARF, SHANDA, OMAHA, XENA, HOUSE M.D., CAPTAIN CARROT AND HIS AMAZING ZOO CREW, BLAKE'S 7, THE BOZZ CHRONICLES, Mose Allison, Archie Goodwin, Charles Barnett III, Phil Foglio, Julia Butterfly Hill, Nathan Brazil, Ray Bradbury, Harlan Ellison, and Theodore Sturgeon, The Pillows, The Kinks and Jethro Tull, Cassandra Wilson and The Scissor Sisters, SWEENEY TODD, ALL THAT JAZZ and 1776, Harry Anderson, Harry Morgan and Harry Potter... The list of my interests goes on and on. O what a stew I am.....But let my links, above and below, speak for themselves.

Places I Wander Through When I Think They're Not Looking

Odin's Castle of Dreams & Legends---a mini-encyclopedia of folklore and myth, compiled quite sensibly
The Darken Hollow---furries, pagans and gamers---oh my! Not to mention the occasional guitar god....
Alpha Ralpha Boulevard---Long live C'mell! This is an indispensible resource for the longtime science fiction, horror and fantasy reader, the kind that remembers way back, when the best short stories were found in MAGAZINES and BOOKS!
Safe Haven For Cats---a non-profit rescue organization managed by my friend Jeri Dopp in California who takes no nonsense and pulls no punches. Not for the squeamish or faint of purpose.
Tony's Online Tips---a daily online journal of the comic book industry, written by a professional and one of the world's few true remaining gentlemen.
Bad Kitty! Bad Human!---groups of links, blackboard style a la Bart Simpson, wherein all the things we've always known about cats and humans come to light.
ZenOrac.com---"Tough are the soles that tread the knife's edge." Links within include WELCOME TO GUMBOY'S MADHOUSE---I survived it, you can too, ya wuss!

More links, and categories of links, to come. Stay tubed... tuned... whichever.

March 15, 1999 --- From the Putting Your Mouth Where Your Money Is Department.....if you believe in the freedom of choice as well as the freedoms accorded by the First Amendment of the Constitution of the United States, please check out this link to The Comic Book Legal Defense Fund and become a member. Really. Give it a look. I'm not blindly spouting that everyone should read EVERYTHING, all in the name of freedom. But... Adults have the responsibility to monitor their own behaviors, not to censor that of others. Our government was founded to protect our rights when the previous government would have taken them away. Visit the site and give it a bit of thought. Even two dollars for a button at a convention is cheerfully welcomed by CBLDF volunteers and staff. Lecture done.[grin]

Please DO e-mail me if you find ANY broken links. I've let this web page slide, but I will be updating on a fairly regular basis. However, oversights can, will and DO occur. After all, I'm mostly human.
