SWOFHL is made up of eight regional teams that compete over the fall season.  This High School league spans South West Ohio, taking in teams from both the Cincinnati and Dayton areas.

Coaches meeting Tuesday Nov 4 at 7pm at MND. ------------------------- State Finals Hathaway Brown 3 Columbus Academy 1 ---------------------- State Semi-Finals MND loses to Hathaway Brown 2-0. Thomas Worthington loses to Columbus Academy 1-0. ----------------------------- State Tournament Finals MND advances to State Semi-finals with a win over the Oakwood LumberJills. The game went through 2 overtimes and then to a set of 5 strokes. MND won on the fourth set of strokes. Amazingly enough the same teams went to strokes in the regional final in 2006. Final score MND 2 Oakwood 1. MND will play Hathaway Brown in the second semi final on Friday October 31 at Upper Arlington at 2:30pm. The first game of the Semi-finals has Columbus Academy playing Thomas Worthington at 12 noon. Finals are Saturday November 1 at 1pm at Upper Arlington. ----------------------------------- State Tournament 2nd Round Regional Games Tuesday 10/21 MND 2 Fairmont 0 Wednesday 10/22 Oakwood 1 St. Ursula 0 Oakwood will play MND on Saturday October 25th at 2pm at Summit Country Day School. 10/23: TIME CHANGE: THE FINALS WILL BE PLAYED AT 2:30PM ON OCTOBER 25TH. THE GAME WILL START 1/2 HOUR LATER THAN ORIGINALLY SCHEDULED. ------------------------------------ State Tournament 1st Round Regional Games Monday 10/13 MND 12 Talawanda 0 Tuesday 10/14 Kettering wins on strokes over Ursuline 1-0. Wednesday 10/15 St. Ursula 8 Summit Country Day 0 Thursday 10/16 Oakwood 6 Indian Hill 0 ------------------------------------- 2008 SWOFHL JV Tournament Congratulations to the Winners of the JV Tournament held at the Summit Complex held on Saturday October 11th. Ursuline Academy wins for the second year in a row. Kettering Fairmont takes second place. --------------------------------------- Regional Tournament Games Regional Games start during the week of 10/13/08. Monday 9/29 Oakwood wins 3-0 over Indian Hill. Tuesday 9/30 The Cougars take the Talawanda Braves 6-1. Thursday 10/2 The Bulldogs defeat the IH Braves 3-1. Thursday 10/2 The Lions win 2-0 over the Lumberjills. Thursday 10/2 Firebirds defeat the Silver Knights 8-0. Congratulations to the Bulldogs on winning the SWOFHL 2008 Title!!!! The Bulldogs go undefeated with a 6-0-1 record. ------------------- Week 5 Monday 9/22 UA defeats Talawanda 6-0 Monday 9/22 The Firebirds edge the IH Braves 1-0 Tuesday 9/23 Indian Hill defeats SCD 4-0 Wednesday 9/24 The Lumberjills and the Firebirds draw 1-1 in OT. Thursday 9/25 MND and UA tie 1-1. Thursday 9/25 St. Ursula beats Talawanda 6-0. ----------------------------- Week 4 Tuesday 9/16 The Cougars joust with the Knights and win 7-1. Wednesday 9/17 The Bulldogs take the Lions in Overtime 1-0. Thursday 9/18 MND defeats Kettering Fairmont 2-0. Thursay 9/18 Oakwood slides by Talawanda 2-0 ---------------------------- Week 3 Monday 9/8 The Bulldogs ground the Firebirds 3-0. Tuesday 9/9: The Lions defeat the Silver Knights 9-1. Wednesday 9/10: The IH Braves beat the Tal Braves 5-1. Thursday 9/11: The Cougars go to OT again and nip the Lumberjills 1-0. ------------------------------ Talawanda secures a 2-0 win over the Silver Knights. Indian Hill takes MND to the limit. Nikki Sever scores 25 seconds into overtime to give the Cougars a 2-1 win. Week 2 starts off with a nailbiter!! Mariella Grote (SUA) slides the ball past the Lumberjill goalie for a St. Ursula 2-1 victory over Oakwood on Wednesday night!! ------------------------------ Oakwood opens the season with a 8-0 victory over Summit. UA scores big over the IH Braves 7-0. The Firebirds soar over the Tal Braves 7-0. The Bulldogs and Cougars battle to a 2 - 2 draw. Can't wait to see what next week brings!!!
