swing dance events in the NY Metropolitan area.
On March 14th we had our second record breaker of attendance during our first
swing dance event of 2009! On May 30th, we paid tribute in memory of master
swing dancer & instructor Frankie Manning who was a mentor and friend
of Swing Dance Swing's Myrna Caceres during our performance section of the event.
Many thanks to all those who attended as well as participated during our
special Frankie Manning Shim Sham! Some who took Myrna's shim sham
crash course joined in as well for their very first shim sham!
Our next event on November 14th will be Swing Dance Swing's
4th Anniversary Event! Save the date so you won't miss our celebration
which will be yet another fun filled night of swing dancing!
Our dances features live swing music by talented musicians
as well as dance performances by our special guest dance performers.
