Suzuki has performed as a member of La Tania Company, Grupo Andanza, was a featured soloist with Chus Alonso's Potingue Ensemble in San Francisco and Berkeley, and has performed in various flamenco cuadros throughout the SF Bay Area. She held classes at Ashkenaz Music & Dance Center in Berkeley for a number of years.
Her love of the art form has led her to study flamenco at various locations in the U.S. and in Spain. She studied with many Spanish artists including Rafaela Carrasco, Belen Maya, Mario Maya, Yolanda Heredia, Andrés Marín, Rafael Campallo, Juana Amaya and Manolo Marín. She studied intensely with La Tania, Yaelisa, and Carola in California.
Suzuki's 30-year dance background also includes training in ballet, African and other ethnic dance forms, as well as artistic trapeze.
