These are ElectroSwtich's 4 gange 24 position attenuators.
Matching resistors takes a long time. Lucky I was able to buy packages of 100 cheap which is a good count to find quad matched sets for each value.
These are 1% 1/4 watt 50 PPM metal films made in Taiwan (according to package description). For the Balance Line Stage Pre-amp - I think matching resistors is more benefit than using exotic Holco/Vishay resistors (who could afford to match those resistors?)
NOTE ABOVE 2 PHOTOS IS NOT HOW I WIRED THE RESISTORS AT THE END The way it sits in the photo, each switched position has only 1 resistor in the path (in each gang). However, in order to properly build a voltage divider, I really need to have an 8 gang attenuator IF, I want to choose that each switch will only have 2 resistors in each path. Alternatively I could use 2 four ganged attenuators (one for left and right) however, I don't like this idea of using 2 volume dials just to increase loudness.

Photo's above show both attenuators - 10 Kohm each. 1st photo on left is NEW ladder step attenuator for single ended. Other 2 are series configured (not as good) attenuator for running in balanced mode
