The Sugar Creek Cloggers -- your gateway to high spirited dancing that will surely make you want to clap your hands and stomp your feet!
Clogging has been defined as America's version of 'Riverdance.' It originated in the Appalachian and Ozark Mountain regions early in the 18th century. It was called flat footin' or buck dancing and was done to fiddle or banjo tunes. Today this dance is known as clogging and is done to all types of music.
The Des Moines based Sugar Creek Cloggers have performed at fairs, festivals, conventions, clubs, on television, and country music & variety shows all over Iowa and surrounding states.
