PTA MEETINGS.   These are held at 9am on the last Thursday of every month.   Please see the diary page which is found from the Notice Board link.   If you want to attend then please arrive via the school office at the front of the building, sign your name in the visitors book and ask to be directed to the room where the meeting is taking place.   All parents and carers of pupils at Stoneydown are welcome.   You do not have to sign up as a formal member nor commit to attending all meetings.   Come along as and when you can to raise issues or just hear what is going on.

HELPING OUT WITH THE PTA.   To get an idea of the many and varied ways in which parents and carers become involved in the life of the school please read the PTA year end 2005/06 Acknowledgement Letter.

EVENING / SATURDAY MEETINGS.   In Feb 2007 some parents asked about the possibility of holding PTA meetings in the evening or at the weekend.   We recognise the importance of holding these meetings at times that allow working parents to attend if they so wish.   This was tried some years ago but actual attendance was low.   However, the PTA welcomes feedback to find out how many people would be interested in attending an evening meeting.   Please reply by e-mail or drop a note in at the school if you have definite views on this either way.
