St. John Greek Orthodox Day School is dedicated to quality education. St John's curriculum centers upon the basics of learning, providing acceleration and enrichment for each student's optimum development.
While acknowledging parents as the primary educators of their children, St. John's provides each child the environment in which to cultivate his or her full potential. Our school emphasizes the intellectual, social, emotional, and spiritual development of the child.
Small class sizes give our students more of a one to one experience with their teacher.
Established in 1967, St John's has grown from just a kindergarten program to a preschool, kindergarten, elementary and junior high school. Our school encompasses 3.5 acres including our main educational building, a media center, the Child Development Center and a Community Center housing a gymnasium, showers and locker rooms. The Child Development Center houses our three, four and five year old kindergarten and serves as an after school care facility.
Our students participate in many county and state programs, including competition in many academic and athletic areas, as well as community projects.
