| The U-League was founded by the country's most revered philosopher whose name got lost in Uqbar's famous labyrinth. Uqbar never enlisted at the AFC (Asian Football Confederation) and never took part in any international competition. Yet, many Uqbarian players are believed to have played in some reputed European leagues, especially for France's Paris Saint Germain. | The U-League welcomes a new franchise for Season XIII. "Welcomes" may be too kind a word, though : the other 6 teams discovered the Delta Divers with the 2006 swimsuit calendar of the irregular season. And as the Virtual Real coach put it : "they can dive as much as they want in their beloved delta, I won't let them fool the refs if they try to dive in my rectangle". |
