Home Welcome, This site is all about removing spyware, and thus optimizing your computer. Just follow the instructions and you're on your way to having a very clean and efecient computer. No catches or small print! Even if you are not convinced that this is worth the time, just try it first, follow the instructions (they are very straight-forward), and you will see the difference between a spyware infested computer and a clean computer.  December 26th Friday | Hope you all had a great Christmas! Now where was I... oh yea I updated the Spyware Removal page!! Took me a while but it was worth it. I can't believe it was that unorganized before. Again, I will update the blacklist with the submissions soon. And I'm not sure if you have noticed but some of the coding has been strangely changed because of Dreamweaver 2004. Oh yea, I just noticed the mailing list is down... maybe I'll change the mailing list host soon. Updated: Spyware Removal page, Links, some misc stuff. |
December 25th Thursday | Merry Christmas everyone!!! Like the new banner? I'm going to delay the spyware removal page to tomorrow, since I have to completely redo it. However, all the other stated updates are here!! Oh yea, and pleeeease vote in the poll, thanks :) By the way, those people who submitted sites/spyware, they will be posted very soon, possibly tomorrow. Updated: Hosts file v1.29, Spyware Blacklist 1.91, SBAI 1.2, a LOT of code optimizations. |
| "Update" - the new year's resolution. That's 3 months, so sorry guys. I'll try to make it up with a major update tomorrow which is Christmas!!! (Yay) The promised updates will be coming, including a new spyware removal page, more, hosts file update, SBAI update, and spyware blacklist update!!! I'm already working on them right now so I will not procrastinate this time :) |
| Yah I really need to fix up the HTML code for Mac users because it really looks weird when I view my site from the school's computer. Anyway, Hosts file and Spyware Blacklist has been updated. If you run the newest version of SBAI (Spyware Blacklist Auto Installer), you shouldn't get many spyware cookies at all... Oh by the way, no promises but I should be getting my own domain name and hosting service soon :) I noticed I had some horrible grammer/spelling mistakes. I can assure you that my English knowledge is not so bad... that's why I've fixed the mistakes that I've spotted (I might have missed some). September 1st Monday | Heh I was fiddling around with photoshop to create my new logo. I've tried a few fonts and stuff, and I think there should be a more fitting font for the silver gradient logo. I might put up a gallery or something, then you guys can vote. New: Logo |
August 31st Sunday | Oh sweet I have Monday off! Labor day! Heh that was so good news that I had to update the site. Notice how I update the site in random bursts, not periodically? Anyway, I put up this cool new article about a Microsoft trojan a got like a month ago or something. Go check it out. Oh, and please vote in the poll if you are reading this! | School started a week ago. It's still pretty boring I guess. Anyway, Hosts File has been updated again... very important update. I fixed the issue with Yahoo pictures being blocked instead of the ads. The blacklist has not been updated as there have not been many new spyware cookies found so far. It seems that the list is getting more complete. Update for the spyware removal page is long due I know. I'm trying to revamp the whole thing. Also, I'm working on a Hosts File editor that will allow for easy editing of the Hosts File and will be able to export and import Hosts File updates. More features coming up.  August 3rd Sunday | Minor update - I improved the design of the left navigation bar! I also added a Link Back section, but I only had time to add one banner. | August 2nd Saturday | D'oh. When I last updated, I forgot to upload the updated hosts file. As a compensation, I've went through a whole new pile of cookies to find new ad/tracking cookies and new hosts file updates. Spyware blacklist has been heavily updated! Go check it out now. Also, remember that the auto-installer is aways updated before the blacklist, because it's easier :P By the way, I'm just got Visual Studio .NET 2003 Pro edition! I'm going to start programming that browser toolbar that I promised a long time ago... Updated: Blacklist (v1.9) and Hosts file (v1.26) |
| July 29th Tuesday | Wow, it seems like a VERY long time since I updated. Heh heh, I'm very lazy in the summer, and on top of that I have summer school. Ok ok enough with the excuses. Something pretty interesting happened a few days ago (probably what made me update the site). Webmaster of Xangahits.com (one of my now ex-blacklisted sites) emailed me to ask me to remove his site from the blacklist. I've decided that his site's cookie is clean, so I have removed it from the blacklist. This brings me to another good point: If you know of a site that is not supposed to be on the blacklist, PLEASE email me to take it off! I really don't want to give out false information... and I know you guys don't want to recieve false information either. By the way guys, the mailing list is there for a reason. It is on the right hand side of this page. Type in your email and press "enter". Of course I will not spam you... I will just send you a short notice when I update my site. Some more very cool news: I have figured out how to "auto-install" the sites from the blacklist. This is a nice breakthrough, and now that I think of it, I should have thought of it before... It's just a registry file to insert a small section of my registry (the part that contains the sites whose cookies are blocked). Just run it and viola you have it installed.
