Spirit
of Truth
I
waited patiently for the Lord to help me, and he turned to me and heard
my cry. Psalm 40:1
Our Relationship With Jesus And
The Holy Father
"The Words In Red"
Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come to him, and will sup with him and he with me. 1 No longer do I call you servants; for the servant knows not what his Lord does: but I have called you friends; for I have made known to you all things that I hear of my Father. 2Greater love has no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends; and you are my friends, if you do whatever I command you. 3
You have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that you should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should go and bring forth should remain: that whatever you ask of the Father in my name, he may give it to you. 4 Yes, I am the true vine, and my Father is the Gardener. Every branch in me that does not bear fruit, he takes away and every branch that bears fruit, he prunes, that it may bring forth more fruit. Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, unless it abides in the vine, neither will you, unless you abide in me: for without me you can do nothing. 5
I am in you, and the Father is in me, that you may be made perfect in one that the world may know that He sent me, and loves you as he loves me. 6 Yes, as the Father has loved me, so I have loved you: continue in my love. If you keep my commandments, you will abide in my love; even as I have kept my Fathers commandments, and abide in His love. 7
He that has my commandments, and keeps them is he that loves me. 8 In fact, if you love me, keep my commandments. 9 He that loves me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and reveal myself to him. 8 Yes, if a man loves me, he will keep my words and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him. 10
I will pray to the Father, and He will give you another Comforter, that he may live with you forever-the-Spirit of Truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it neither sees him or knows him: but you know him; for he dwells with you and will be in you. 11 For the hour comes, and now is, when the true worshippers will worship the Father in Spirit and in truth: for the Father seeks such to worship Him. 12
No man can come to me, except the Father which sent me draw him: and I will raise him up at the last day. 13 And all that the Father gives me, will come to me; and he that comes to me, I will not at all cast out. 14 And whoever, does the will of my Father which is in heaven, the same is my brother, and sister, and mother. 15
My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me: And I give them eternal life; and they will never perish, neither will any man pluck them out of my hand. My Father, which gave them to me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of Father's hand. 16
