The BLM Adoption was also a success with the adoption of 6 burros, 16 horses, and 2 additional yearlings going to gentling training.
And now a word from our Spring Stampede Manager:
“Spring Stampede 2009”
We’ve done it again ! For the 16th Year we have planned and completed a Great Fundraising Event. My Thanks goes to all our volunteers that work so hard and pull this event together.
As manager on the ground, this year far surpassed others in running smooth with the minimum of “hiccups”. Kudos to our President for keeping the paperwork and framework on track. My Appreciation, to all the Chairpeople who manage each one of their programs superbly. Special Thanks to the young ladies of Livermore High Lacrosse & the Boosters Club and the 4H for helping with the arenas and where ever they were needed! GREAT JOB!
Thank You to the Visiting Queens from Oakdale Rodeo, Rowell Ranch-Hayward Rodeo, Livermore Rodeo and Livermore Jr. Rodeo. A big Thank You to our own Miss CSHA, Abigail Norris; for not only appearing in the Grand Entry each morning, but for her help at Stampede throughout the weekend. The Stampede just wouldn’t happen without all the cooperation and coordination of the folks who give of their time and devote energy to the Stampede. Thank You and Happy Trails ……………..
