Jesus Christ The Light of the World |
For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes
in him shall not perish but have eternal life. John 3:16 |
Why did God send His Son? |
For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the
world through him. John 3:17 |
What difference does it make if I believe or not? |
Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned
already because he has not believed in the name of God's one and only Son. John 3:18 |
This is the verdict: Light has come into the world, but men loved darkness instead
of light because their deeds were evil. Everyone who does evil hates the light,
and will not come into the light for fear that his deeds will be exposed. John 3:19-20 |
Why are unbelievers so opposed to Gospel of Jesus Christ? |
For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith--and this not from yourselves,
it is the gift of God-- not by works, so that no one can boast. Ephesians 2:8-9 |
What about all the good deeds I've done? |
If my good deeds won't put be right with God, what can I do? |
Know in your heart that your sin has separated you from the God who loves you. Turn away from your sin and the things separating you from God. Then turn towards God in your daily life. Trust in the fact that Jesus died as a sacrifice for your sin and that he arose from the dead. Ask Jesus in your heart to come into your life, forgive your sins, and help you live as a child of the living God. Jesus promised He would and he is always faithful. He will be your friend forever. |
The prayer below is one that has been said by many and is only a suggestion. The
most important prayer is the one from your heart. |
Lord Jesus, I know I am a sinner. Thank you for dying on the cross for my sins. I ask you to come into my life and receive You as my Lord and Savior. Forgive me of my sins, take control of my life, and make me the person you want me to be. Amen |
If you prayed this prayer, meaning it in your heart, I welcome you into the kingdom
of God. Nothing or no one can take the free gift you have just received. Pray
that you will stand firm to the end and that God will increase your faith. From
this point on He will never leave or forsake you. I look forward to meeting you in eternity! |
Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice! Let your gentleness be
evident to all. The Lord is near. Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything,
by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.
And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts
and your minds in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:4-7 |
