| The First Responder program is a joint effort between Lawrence County fire departments and the South Eastern Ohio Emergency Medical Service (SEOEMS). The purpose of the program is to help offer the best emergency health care and the fastest response time. First responders volunteer their time to respond to calls when there will be an excesive response time by Seoems duy to other calls or location. Firefighters must go through either a first reponder class or EMT or Paramedic courses to be first responders. |
