HIGH WATER FLOATS RAFTS DOWN STREAM nov21 Unusually high water has freed 2 sets of rafts or wharves floating them down the river to Morindale Bay. One was rescued by this reporter, but another owned by the Korbs was stuck at the chute of the dam. If you are the owner of this dock, hopefully it will be still at our beach this spring. There is also a sailboat tied up on the far side of the barrage. We must remember that the level of the water can fluctuate at any time.

Gerald Korb and son Jonathan were fortunate enough to save the docks pictured hanging over the dam yesterday. With the help of the dam manager who raised the chute the men secured the raft and pulled it out of the current and onto the beach where it will sit the winter.
