The Wibble Fund
The Wibble Fund is the term given to the Unseen University scholarship programme.
It is administered by the Wibble Board, a subset of Faculty, and overseen by the Dean of College.
Applications may be submitted by any wizard who has not yet graduated into an order.
The Scholarship
Applications must be sent via mudmail to all appendages of the Wibble Board and copied to the Chancellor and The Dean of College.  To discover who currently holds these positions please use the command refer faculty in the game.

Applications should be in character and include details about what you plan to use the money for.
The more effort you put into the application, the more money you are likely to recieve.
The maximum grant will only be awarded if your application is of reasonable length, detailed and interesting.
An application which just demands money will be rejected out of hand.
The Application
* Grants will be awarded according to the quality of the application.
The standard grant range is between 50 and 200 Ankh-Morpork dollars and you will need to truly impress us to recieve the maximum rewards.

* There is a minimum standard and if you do not meet this standard you will be contacted and asked to reapply.
If the application is of extremely poor quality you may recieve a grant of $0.

* An applicantion of outstanding excellence may, upon consultation with the Dean of College and the Chancellor,
be approved for a grant in excess of 200 dollars. Such grants may only be issued by the Chancellor.
With your permission such high quality applications will be displayed on this website.
Approval
Link to Example Applications
Applications may be approved by any of the Wibble Board Appendages.
The first board member to read the application will mail the other members with his/her thoughts.
The other members have approximately two days to make comments before the initial respondent approves (or rejects) the application. The comments and suggestions may effect the amount awarded, either favourably or negatively.
If approved, the other members of the Board will be notified by mudmail and the approving member will sign and fill out a voucher which will be then deposited at the Ankh-Morport Post Office parcel counter for collection by the student in question,

The student must then take the voucher to
The Velvet Gauntlet. Old Warrior's Guild, Ankh-Morpork. 4w,sw,s,2se,ne,n from Drum.
The voucher should be sold under category Wibble Fund Vouchers for the amount indicated.
The student should then check back every day or so to see if the voucher has been approved.
Please note that upon approval you only have 7 days to collect royalties before they time out.
Replacement vouchers will not be issued.
The Voucher
The voucher must be signed before it is filled out or it will not be valid.
This is the only way to be sure to prevent forgery.

Checks and Balances
The Dean of College has responsibility for the Wibble Fund, and will be reviewing the nature of the grants made as well as approving the applications. They may make suggestions to individual board members in order to achieve consistency of grant amounts between members, and to approve the grants made.
The Chancellor as head of the entire Faculty may do the same.
Playershop approval
It is neccessary to use a playershop in the approval process due to the inibility to send money through the postal system.
To this end the Chancellor and Dean of College must seek to secure a shop owner's support in the advent of the current voucher approval centre falling to a new owner. Prospective aids must be selected carefully.

It is important that the Chancellor and Dean of College are included on all correspondence with the applicants, so that they are aware of the need to purchase the voucher. The Chancellor or Dean will then withdraw money from the Faculty account wibble_fund to reimburse the shopkeepers for the cost of the voucher.
If the wibble account is empty the main account can be used.
The voucher should be eaten once it has been returned to the Chancellor or Dean.
Information for willing shop owners
A category should be created called Wibble Fund, Wibble Board , Wibble Vouchers or similar.
It will most likely only need 1 slot of shop space as applications are sporadic at best.
When a voucher is sold to the shop, check to make sure a board members signature is at the top and the price is correct.,
Then approve it and set the sale price to the same price as listed on the voucher.
Send a mudmail to the Chancellor and the Dean of College inforrming them that a wibble voucher has been approved.
One of them will then withdraw the funds from the Facculty treasury and come along and buy back the voucher.

Alternatively you can purchase the voucher and sell it back to the Dean or Chancellor in person, but that requires matching login times.

The voucher is only valid for the person who's name is specified, so there is little point in anyone else buying it.
Should they do so, you still get the money, they are just out of pocket.
Only one voucher may be issued per student.

It is hoped that you will inform us when your Lease comes up for renewal and certainly if you lose the Lease in order that we may look for a new voucher exchange point.

Thank you most dearly,

Mistress Elanor the Wise of the Ancient and Truly Original Sages of the Unbroken Circle, the Seventh Level Wizard.
Chancellor of Faculty.
Wibble Board Right Foot.
