It seems that every single studio out there is remaking every single film in history. Today I learned of MGM's idiotic plan to remake "Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure". How fucking stupid is that!!?? So anything that hits the 20 year mark needs to be remade??? What's next...E.T.?
The films currently being remade....Nightmare on Elm Street (Who the fuck thought that was a good idea??) Friday the 13th, The Thing, The Birds, Conan the Barbarian.......I mean WHAT THE FUCK!!!!???? What's next...Casablanca? Gone with the Wind?? The Exorcist? Psycho?? Oh wait...they did remake the last one...and guess what?? It FREAKIN BLEW!!!

Now horror films seem to be the film of choice to remake at the moment. The newest....Prom Night and Terror Train. Guess any that starred Jamie Lee Curtis needs to be redone. But redone and released PG-13. WTF is that??? Take an classic slasher starring a classic (if not THE classic) Scream Queen and watered it down for the tween crowd. What the hell are you people in Hollywood smoking????
Now I have recently heard of a plan to remake "The Breakfast Club".....WHY!!??? What possible reason could there be to do that?? I have also heard it will be 20 something in an airport...UH?
That is not the Breakfast Club...that is a whole other movie. Why not make it a whole other movie..ya know, original? Hey there's an idea!
Hey Hollywood...try having people with original thoughts and creativity run the place instead of MBA suit assholes who have no idea what a movie is? To these idiots incharge of Hollywood now, a movie is something you recycle..whether straight to DVD or on the Big screen so you can make a profit. Who cares if it is a horrible film. Who cares if it is NOT wanted by the fans of the original?
I have recently realized how much Hollywood couldn't give a shit about us fanboys/girls out there. Even though we are the target audiance. Whether we want it done or not..they do it. Sure we all went to see "Halloween" opening weekend. But did ya dumbass suits notice something? Did ya notice the 60% drop in box office the following week?? That was your "CORE FAN BASE" not wanting to subject themselves to that piece of shit film again!
One last rant....There is a movie out there that I have yet to hear one fanboy/girl say they can not wait to see. Actually...all the fanboy/girls out there are BEGGING...yes BEGGING Hollywood NOT TO MAKE THIS FILM! PLEASE DO NOT MAKE THIS FILM! That would be the Justice League film in pre-production right now.
We have seen the leaked script and outline...it freakin SUCKS! We have heard about who is the cast for these iconic characters. IT IS THE WORST CASTING FOR A COMIC FILM.....EVER!!!!! JLA Batman should never...ever be played by a 21 year old KID! Have you idiots at Warner Brothers ever even read a comic book??? There was a collective sign and cheers of relief when this project was postponed. Why are you idiots going forward with it??? How freakin dumb are you people??? Does it make sense to completely piss off the fan base that would be the ones to go multiple times to a film like this??? Do all you people have the collective IQ of naval lint??
Hollywood..I am completely disgusted with you. No wonder I don't go to films anymore....you put out maybe 3 worth while films a year. You should be ashamed of yourselves. KNOCK IT OFF!!
