Whatever Lola Wants....Lola gets

And Lola got one heck of a movie. It's hard for this movie to not leave an impression. From the moment it begins we are on a rythmic tempo that melds the movie into a stylish action film with a pulse..this film is
charged. The wild red-haired girl is Lola, and her love is Manny. Manny calls her with some troubling news, he's mixed up with some drug dealers and the money he was supposed to give them was accidentally left on the train and taken by a homeless man. If she doesn't get him the $100,000 in 20 minutes, he's going to rob a store. His life is at stake, and time is not on her side.

Lola must rack her brain and she has no time to think, so she just begins to run. Running to her father to ask for his help. And there is where the story takes off with techno music and flaming red hair. It could be just an ordinary film that is predictable, but what makes it so intoxicating is the way it makes you feel frantic, it makes you feel like you are running with her and in the end your brain is throbbing. It is set to some energetic music that really drives the story, becomes one with it.

Run Lola Run doesn't just present us with one idea, but three. Three possible outcomes for the movie. And they are all based on the theory that the little seconds in our lives and decisions that we make that seem insignificant could be the catalyst of future event changes. The film demonstrates this by showing the beginning of each run with a slight change that alters her running time but an additional second behind and ahead. And what an amazing look at how fantastic it plays out. Haven't we all wondered at one time or another, "IF i had just left one second later or gotten in the car one second earlier things would have been totally different"?

This movie is intense as the love Lola has for Manny is intense in what she will do to save his life. Three outcomes, but their fates entertwined. Another interesting thing is on her run each time she bumps into someone or runs by them we might catch a glimpse into their life..and maybe how that brief encounter she had with them could have changed their future.  In the end what can you say, but Run Lola..
