*** 2006 Annual Fireman's Bazaar and Parade ***
Its that time of year again! We need help in preparing for our annual fireman's bazaar July 7, 8, 9. We need volunteers to run stands, help cook and set up, and cleanup.
The bands are:
Friday: Third Degree 8pm - midnight
Saturday: Flaxy Morgan 8pm - midnight
Sunday: The Cadillacs 7pm - 10pm

Parade: Sunday, 4pm

News and Notes:

***New Tanker/ Pumper has arrived!***

A brand new 2005 KME International combination Pumper/Tanker was purchased with grants from FEMA and Township Community Developement. This apparatus will allow a minimal number of firefighters to respond, cutting down response times when volunteer availability is low. The purchase cumulates many months of hard work by the Truck Committee of Ron Burd, Donald Peters, Paul Peters Jr., Larry Spaide Jr. and Joe Dombroski. This new piece of equipment will serve the community and all of Mountaintop Mutual Aid for many years to come.

Training Completed:
    April, 2005: Ron Burd, Frank Willis, Larry Spaide Jr, completed recertification for hazmat operations level
    February - April, 2005: Junior firefighters Mike Boyer, Wayne Vandermark, Daniel Baratta, Matt Engler, and Tyler Zema recently joined beginner firefighters from the entire area in an 88 hour Essentials of Firefighting Class at Mountaintop Hose Co.
     October, 2004: Ron Burd, Larry Spaide Jr., Michael Boyer completed Motor Vehicle Rescue Class

Meetings are the second Thursday of every month @ 8pm except for June through August and rotate hosting companies by alphabetical order. June's meeting will be at the Fairview Twp. Firehall.
