PRAM: a Program for Reliability Assessment with Multiple Coders

Pram version 0.4.5 now available!

Some points to note before going any further:

  1. This is an alpha release of the program – USE AT YOUR OWN RISK!

(The program is full or bugs and is not yet finished. We know this. It is recommended that backup files be made of the Excel data before running PRAM. However, from tests that we have run, no damage has occurred to either the data PRAM reads or the system PRAM is running on.) Skymeg Software will not be held accountable for any damages that result from the use, install, download, or thinking about PRAM.

PRAM is to be used to determine the reliability of measuring procedures. It currently calculates:

    1. Percent Agreement
    2. Scott’s Pi
    3. Cohen’s Kappa
    4. Spearman Rho
    5. Pearson Correlation
    6. Lin’s Concordance
    7. Holsti’s Reliability

The input file shall be an Excel file, with:

    1. The first column must contain the coder IDs in numeric form.
    2. The second column must contain the unit (case) Ids in numeric form.
    3. All other columns may contain numerically coded variables, with variable names on the header line.

Skymeg Software thanks Dr. Neuendorf for her insight into the world of reliability assessment.
