| Dear Fellow Steven Fans, Welcome to Steve Cousins: Higher Than Gold, a fan site and club dedicated to the world-class skater, Steven Cousins. The name comes from a two part orgin. "Higher" is a song by Creed, which Steven skated a program to in the 00-01 season of Stars on Ice. "Higher than Gold" comes from the fact that, despite the fact that Steven has no World or Olympic gold, he has gone farther and "higher" without a medal, than most other champions do. Steven has a talent and persona so powerful on the ice, that no medal is needed to validate it.. Steven deserves something Higher Than Gold. I hope you find this site easy to use and interesting. | After a hiatus, the webmasters of Higher Than Gold are back, and this site is back in business. Forgive us for the long delay...but here goes! It's time to talk Steven Cousins... Steven participated this season in Masters of Figure skating and Hallmark Skater's Championship, placing 4th in both competitions. He is currently on tour with Target's Stars on Ice where he participates in group numbers like "Vanity Tango" form Moulin Rouge, as well as solos including one that is a Tom Jones Medley. Steven will also be doing interviews this year for SOI, so check the site weekly for Steven updates! Be sure to watch SOI on NBC on December 21st! |
