Then tune into this programme each week to hear an ever-changing mix of classic and contemporary tunes and tracks from the original seven Celtic nations and beyond! Music with roots in Ireland, Scotland, Wales, Brittany, Cornwall, the Isle of Man, and Galicia has spread its branches into the Americas, Australia, and even Algeria!
On a regular basis, The Celtic Show highlights special dates with thematic playlists. And traditionally, on each first Sunday of the month, Scottish storyweaver Kathleen Mainland drops by at 6pm. On other weeks, you will hear unique albums, artists, and elements of this genre featured in the "Six O'Clock Spotlight". An effort is also made to keep listeners informed about Celtic events in the Southeast region.
