New Snowfox website
All parents, swimmers and fans of Snowfox; we will be transitioning this site to the new, improved Team Unify portal by the end of August. What does this mean for you?
- The www.snowfoxswim.com domain will still work, but when you type this in your web browser you will be automatically directed to the new Team Unify site.
- If you have a shortcut or bookmark
for Snowfoxswim.com , you may need to recreate it. The correct
link is "http://www.snowfoxswim.com".
- You can verify a shortcut by right-clicking on
it and viewing the "Address" property.
- You can verify an Internet Explorer bookmark by
right-clicking on it and viewing the "URL" property.
Consult your on-line help for other browsers such as Netscape, AOL,
Opera, Mozilla, Safari, etc.
- Please note that once we have moved to the new Team Unify site, you will need to update any old links for "www.geocities.com/siouxfallssnowfox" to "www.snowfoxswim.com".
We encourage everyone to take some time to explore the new Team Unify site during the month of August (click here or click on the Team Unify image for the new site, and check your email for a user ID and password which have been forwarded by the Snowfox board).
Please note that the billing and signup portions of the new site will not be active until September. You will be notified via email when these functions are activated.
If anyone has problems with or questions about the new site, please email webmaster Bob Moore (BobMoore@sio.midco.net) with details. We hope this new site will provide a more user-friendly and useful web presence for Snowfox Swim Team, and we intend to work through any issues you report before making a final transition to the new site later this month.

Snowfox serves The Banquet
Once again, Snowfox will serve The Banquet breakfast. Please read below for details. I will do all scheduling, so do not reply to this email (it will go to Lindsie, who has enough to do!). Please reply to prgordon20@sio.midco.net if you would like to serve, cook or donate money. I will be at the US Open and Junior Nationals in Minneapolis July 28-Aug. 8, so please give donations in a clearly marked envelope to any of our coaches at practice. Checks can be made payable to The Banquet, please put "Snowfox" in the memo. They could also be mailed to me at: Paula Gordon 3900 S. Benjamin Dr. Sioux Falls, SD 57103.
The dress code is clearly defined below, but I would like to amend it and ask everyone to wear a Snowfox t-shirt. This is a rewarding opportunity for us to give back to the community, so please consider volunteering or donating to this worthy cause!
I also have labels to put on old _Splash_ magazines. The labels can be placed over your mailing address and placed in businesses you use with a magazine area, such as dentists, clinics, hair salons, etc.
This is a wonderful and simple way to share the sport of swimming with the rest of the community. As this is an Olympic year, many people become interested in swimming. These labels provide contact information, in case they are interested in joining a (our) team, so please consider re-cycling your old _Splash_ magazines. I will give Lindsie more labels as well.
Thank you and good luck at Novice and State! This is the first State Meet I'll miss in 9 years!!! Go Snowfox!
Snowfox is signed up to serve breakfast on Wednesday, August 13, 2008.
The Banquet, 900 E. 8th Street, Sioux Falls.
Menu: Pancakes, Sausage, orange juice, bananas & milk
The cost of serving the meal is: $225.00 for 200 people. We need at least 20 volunteers - 6 workers at 5:30 am for meal preparation; additional volunteers should arrive at 6:30 am. The meal is served from 7:00-8:00am.
Serving Rules: Volunteers must be 13 years old or older to work in the kitchen or to pour beverages. Volunteers age 10 to12 years old may wash tables and carry trays only. Children under age ten will most likely be helping to wipe tables. We ask that parents use their own discretion about whether their child will be able to stay at that task for an hour and a half. Young children MUST be closely supervised by their parents at ALL TIMES for their personal safety.
Volunteer Dress Code: Please remember our dress code for serving at The Banquet. We recommend that our volunteers wear: Jeans, capris or walking shorts, no shorter than above the knee. T-shirts with sleeves and long enough to be tucked in. Tennis shoes or closed-toe shoes Please: No short shorts or mini-skirts. No tank tops or midriff-bearing tops. No flip-flops or sandals. No caps while serving.
The health department requires everyone to wear tennis shoes and socks for safety.
Thank you for all you do for The Banquet!
