Museum Volunteers is a non-profit group of trained guides sharing with visitors at the museums under the National Heritage Board, the rich cultural heritage of Singapore and the region.

The Museum Volunteers (MV) group was formed on 1 May 2004 by a group of working professionals who are also experienced museum volunteer guides. Most MVs have 2-10 years of volunteer guiding experience with the National Heritage Board museums.

We are a non-profit group and there are currently more than 120 MVs from different nationalities, races, age groups and professions who are keen to share our passion for heritage, culture, and the fine arts with visitors to the NHB Museums, primarily the Asian Civilisations Museum, the National Museum of Singapore, the Peranakan Museum and the Singapore Art Museum.

As almost all MVs work fulltime, we conduct volunteer tours in English on weekends and public holidays, and also help out in various other NHB programmes.

The MV Committee comprises MVs guiding in the different museums and they are:
