| Jan van der Straaten is affiliated with Tilburg University, The Netherlands. He is an environmental economist and specialised on the relationship between tourism and nature. He wrote his Ph D on Acid Rain, Economic Theory and Dutch policies. He took many pictures for the Saxifraga collection, mainly in the Alps and the Mediterranean regions.
