Siebren is a retired physicist who now dabbles in astronomy and music.

Sometimes he writes for the Dutch amateur magazine ZENIT.
Since december 2000 he hosts an astrophotography group at http://groups.yahoo.com
He was member of the Helicon symphony orchestra playing the bassoon for about 20 years.
Now he mainly sings Barbershop. He is a member of the Costa Barber Singers who rehearse on Thursdays in the town of Benissa, Spain and a visiting member of the Southern Comfort Barber Mates in Eindhoven. Sometime he may even take part in a singout, but he has trouble to remember all the lyrics....
Renée is a librarian who has tried many arts and has not yet decided what she likes best.
Her best results up to now are in pottery, but her teacher who also took care of firing her efforts has departed and she now has to find another place to fire her products.
In the meantime she has tried her hand at wax painting ("Encaustic").
Together they have been in a demonstration group for old ballroom dances until they got trouble with their knees and ankles. Nowadays they do a lot of walking.
They have two sons Sake and Lucas, a granddaughter Renske who was born monday july 22nd at 1:06 am and a grandson Victor who was born august 14th around 5:00.
The year 2003 was not favourable for health and finance, as we had a lot of hospital visits and an automobile accident. We were also robbed in Spain, losing among others the video record of Renske and Victor's first year. Fortunately both grandchildren are healthy and we hope to post new album pages about them soon.
