With inflation and the hard times we all face, I am changing the Short Timer website back to a free site. With this comes limited storage and advertising. Hopefully I can share a good amount of the history and information I have collected over the years.

The USCGC CHASE is only one unit many of us have served on. It is one link in a long chain of Proud and Honored Coast Guard History. Every Coast Guard Unit, and Coast Guard Era Served, is a important as the next. I hope everyone enjoys reading and remembering those days gone bye.

I am loading all of the files I have. It will take some time to do this, so please bear with me. If you have any stories or information you want added, please send it in. Many eras of CHASE crews history still needs to be recorded. I apologize for any and all mistakes.

Is looking for All CHASE Era Crew Members, Family and Friends. They have had three Association Reunions and many more smaller mini reunions. Many of the members are also actively associated with the Coast Guard Combat Veterans. They would be happy to hear from you.
