Teoul Moon Kung Fu is a chinese martial arts system that was developed in Korea.  It is a composite martial arts system that incorporates the Shaolin Five Animal - a fighting art that mimics the movements and characteristics of the tiger (tenacity / aggressiveness), leopard (speed / power), snake (flexibility / subtleness), crane (balance / evasiveness), and dragon (wisdom / internal power); Hung Gar - a system popularized by the near-legendary exponent Huang Fei Hong; Tang Lang Chuan - a vicious system from Shandong, based on the movements of the Preying Mantis; and Bagua Zhang - a complex system originating in the theory of I-Ching.  Teoul Moon also teaches the internal arts Tai Chi Chuan and Chi Gong to compliment the external development of skills.

Teoul Moon system of kung fu translates as the "second gate to enlightenment."  The first gate is birth; the second gate is the student's path to enlightenment, self-attainment, and self-perfection.
The physical is only a vehicle to the spirit. A healthy body leads to a healthy mind, a healthy mind leads to healthy decisions.  Without humility and patience, nothing can be learned.

Teoul Moon's Brief History:

The founder, Master Chon Song Shing, was already skilled in the Shaolin Five Animal Kung Fu and Tai Chi Chuan when he started to learn other martial arts styles from other masters.  Master Chon learned Hung Gar from Master Chung Guk Chi, Bagua Zhang  from Master No Su Chun, and Tang Lang Chuan under Master Kang Kum Pang.
After several years of training, Master Chon was able to combine the effective fighting elements of these styles and developed a new system which we now know as Teoul Moon Kung Fu.
In 1988, Master Chon retired from teaching kung fu and passed the legacy of his art to his most talented and skilled student; current Teoul Moon Kung Fu Grandmaster Yim Hon Sok (see image below).
Master Chon is currently residing in China spending most of his time practicing spiritual Chi Gong.
