GOLD PROSPECT PL 1761/01

SHENDA AREA

1. Holders of a prospecting licence valid until 2008 for a property in Bulyanhulu Gold District are looking for joint venture partners or outright buyers for the property. The property is located about 70km from Kahama town and 60km SW of the world class Bulyanhulu Gold Mine. Access is by Isaka - Ngara road which transects the prospecting license.

   3. REGIONAL GEOLOGY

The Ushirombo greenstone belt consists of Lower and Upper Nyanzian lithologies, and Kavirondian volcanogenic sediments. These have been intruded by weakly foliated G4 to massive G5 granites, quartz feldspar porphyries and Bukoban mafic dykes. The trend of the belt is WNW - ESE and it is envisaged to be fault controlled. Gold mineralization in the area is considered to be associated with two structural trends WNW - ESE and NE - SW. There are several gold occurrences within the belt including the property held under PL 1761/01.

  4. WORK COMPLETED TODATE

 Exploration work completed todate include: a) Geological and regolith mapping at 1:20,000scale b) Geochemical soil and rockchip sampling (soil and termite mound) c) Photogeological data interpretation d) Airborne data interpretation e) Ground geophysical survey (Mapana EM) f) Auger drilling in "mbuga' covered areas, pitting and pit sampling RAB, RC and air core drilling. The Gold mineralization has been found to be structurally controlled.

5. PROSPECT (LOCAL) GEOLOGY

6. RESULTS

 Assay values revealed background values of 1.5 characterizing areas underlain by granitoids. These values are spread all over the areas under sand cover implying sand to be of granitic origin. Details are available in the aforementioned report. Artisanal mining activities in the area are on going.
