'Overrated' Performs
After falling out the singles chart in it's fourth week - it was somewhat a suprise to see 'Overrated' re-appear at number 90 last week. And then climb to number 67 the following week. Its great news for Siobhan and the single as it shows more people are being interested in her work.

Live Dates
Dont forget Siobhan is playing 3 Live dates in London next month. You can check her out at Barfly, 93 Ft East, and Borderline. She is also playing at The University Of Glasgow on the 2nd September and The Life Bar in Manchester on the 4th of September.

Siobhan performs with Morcheeba
Siobhan performed with Morcheeba at their concert in Somerset House, London on the 6th August. She was a suprise guest, as she shares the same Management label as Morcheeba. She performed 3 acoustic songs - 'Overrated' a cover of the Al Green classic 'I'm Glad Your Mine' and second single 'Twist Of Fate'.

German Appearences
Siobhan is performing at Radio Ein in Cologne on 15th August for an exclusive Radio broadcast live gig. The 16th August at MDR Jump in Kamenz and on the 17th August at NRJ Jumpfest. You can check out siobhandonaghy.de for more information.

Little Bits
Just a Little Bit (ahem) of info here! I bumped into Siobhan in Lecister Square the other day, just after the recording of the 'Twist Of Fate' video with director Nick Woods. Shes absoultly fine, and was on her way to see 'The Secretary' (Fantastic film - go see it!) Had a quick chat and she's very happy and looking forward to all the live dates.

Release Dates Changed
Siobhan's record company has pushed back the release of 'Twist Of Fate' to 15th of September. 'Revolution In Me' Siobhans debut album is out on the 29th of September.

Just finished filimg the video to 'Twist Of Fate' which is Siobhan's 2nd single. It was filmed in a club below London Bridge in London. It looks like its gonna be fantastic.

Siobhans fave books
Just a little something from Siobhan on the books she is reading at the moment.
"Like everybody else, I've been reading Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix. I've been waiting three years to see what happens next, and I'm really excited about it. I'm only a few chapters in though, because I've been spending so much time on the road promoting the new album. I'll be reading Stanley Booth's The True Adventures of the Rolling Stones after that, which is supposed to be an honest account of the band, and doesn't always show them in the best light. Another summer read is the Dirty Havana Trilogy by Pedro Juan Gutierrez, which is about the author's experiences of poverty in Cuba. My boyfriend gave me a fantastic present the other day, a first edition of The House at Pooh Corner from 1928. It's not exactly something you can take to the beach - it's so delicate I can barely turn the pages, but it's just the kind of book I love."

Another new Siobhan gig announced
Siobhan has announced another Live date. She will be playing at the Borderline in London, Manette Street, W1 on Wednesday the 8th October at 7:00pm. This is brilliant news as it means Siobhans London fans can see her twice. I'll be at both gigs so anyone who's planning to go , send me an e-mail and we can meet up.

New Siobhan Gig!
Siobhan has announced a new Tour date for her London fans. Siobhan will be playing at the Barfly in London, Camden on Thursday 11th September. This is fantastic news, as Siobhan has so far not done any commercial London dates - and this is around the time of the release of her Second single 'Hate' and Debut Album 'Revolution In Me' I reckon that this is the first of many tour dates to be announced in that week to promote 'Revolution In Me'.More information will be avilable when we have it.

'Overrated' holds on to Top 75...
'Overrated' has spent it's third week inside the top 75 at, number 74! Looks like Siobhan will be out of the Top 75 next week...
New Chart Position
'Overrated' is at number 45 in the official UK Chart this week, this means that 'Overrated' unfortunatly only managed 1 week inside the top 40. Hopefully folow-up single 'Hate' will be promoted well and will break Siobhan through as a sucsessful solo artist. After 'Overrated' has completed it's UK Chart runs on all charts, they will be entered into the new table of complete information into all areas of UK Charts in the Chart pages to be uploaded to this site in the coming weeks.

More bad news...
Siobhan's scheduled appearences on BBC's Top Of The Pops has unfortunatly been pulled. Siobhan will no longer be appearing on Top Of The Pops which she had been scheduled to do. This is such dissapointing news as I'm sure she would have given a great performance - and it would of helped to sell more copies of 'Overrated'. However due to the songs low chart position the producers decided to pull Siobhan from the bill - This was decided before the programme was filmed on Wednesday. Smash Hits
Siobhan is in the new issue of Smash Hits magazine. The article and pictures will be uploaded to the articles section soon.

New Live Date
Siobhan will be performing at T4's Pop Beach party on July 13th at Yarmouth Beech. You can still purchase tickets from www.channel4.com/t4 and the even will be broadcasted on T4.


Official Chart Placing
The news has just been announced and Siobhan is at 19 in the official charts. Unfortunately 'Overrated' hasn't got the top ten position we had all hoped for and what it deserved. Overrated also only made 25 in the Capital FM Pepsi Chart. I just hope that WEA London stick with Siobhan and promote her second single more...

Tour information
Siobhan is to kick off a tour in July as support to the Polyphonic Spree. Siobhan is not supporting on every date of the tour so please check here before your purchase tickets. Currently confirmed dates that Siobhan will be performing at are -. Tuesday the 8th July at Leas Cliff Hall Folkestone, Wednesday 9th July at Essex University Colchester, Thursday 10th July at Roadmender Northampton. Siobhan has also announced that she is going to perform a cover of the Al Green classic I'm Glad Your Mine on this tour.

Latest midweek chart news is that Siobhan is at 13. This is a little better than early indication but still not too great - please support Siobhan and buy both CDS of 'Overrated' by Saturday.

Television Appearances
Siobhan is one Radio One at 12 today performing 'Overrated' in the Live Lounge. Siobhan will also be on The UK Top 40 on the CBBC channel on Sky Digital this Sunday.

'Overrated to miss top ten?
From Monday's sales Siobhan is number 14 in the charts. Please buy both CD formats of 'Overrated' if you haven't already to get Siobhan up the charts - a positive way to look at it is that Siobhan doesn't have a loyal fan base yet as she is a new artist so people will be buying her CD throughout the week instead of rushing to buy it on the first day...However it's still looking like it won't make the top ten...please support Siobhan

The Saturday Show
Siobhan will be appearing on The Saturday Show this weekend, performing 'Overrated' and getting involved in all the celebrity interviews and games. This Saturday from 9am on BBC1.

CD:UK appearance
Siobhan will be on CD:UK again this Saturday performing 'Overrated' It is unclear at this time if it is a repeat of last weeks performance, or if she recorded the song twice. But if you missed it last week check it out.

Unfortunately although 'Overrated' is A Listed at Radio 1, it has still no made it onto the Airplay charts. This is very unfortunate as it means 'Overrated' hasn't been played on radio much at all. Please phone your local stations to play the song.

Siobhan finally appears on 'Popworld'
Siobhan will be interviewed on Popworld next Sunday 15th June to promote 'Overrated'. This programme was originally scheduled for two weeks ago, but was pulled back - This is actually good news as it means the promotion is closer to the release date of the single.

Siobhan to play Radio 1's Live Lounge
Sibohan is paying back Radio 1 for adding 'Overrated' to the A-List by playing in the Live Lounge on Tuesday 24th June. She will be performing acoustic versions of 'Overrated' and tracks from her impending album 'Revolution In Me'. The show goes out live from 10am on Radio 1. Fans from all over the world will be able to listen to the tracks live from the Radio 1 website and full crystal clear mp3s from the event will be added to Siobhan Information World.

'Overrated' gets added to the A-List
Our girl has done it! Siobhan has now been added to the Radio 1 A-List. This is absolutely fantastic news as it means she will get plenty of plays on Radio 1 over the coming weeks. The single has had an extremely successful feedback from Radio 1 and has gone straight from the C-List to the B-List and now to the A-List - increasing with every week it has been on Radio - This happens very rarely and is the best news Siobhan and her fans could have hoped for. Please keep e-mailing Radio One regarding how much you love the song to make sure it stays on the A-List until and after its release date on the 23rd of June. We can now finally expect to see Siobhan sore up the Airplay charts when they are released next week. 'Overrated' is currently not on the Airplay charts, but thanks to Radio 1 it should receive a hot shot debut position next week. Also 'Overrated' was at number 5 in last weeks MTV charts, but unfortunately drops out of the top 10 this week. Please keep text voting for the 'Overrated' video by SMS to MTV.

'Overrated' to be released on 2 CDs and Cassette
It looks like 'Overrated' is going to be released on 2 CDs instead of just 1 as originally thought. This is brilliant news for Siobhan as releasing 2 CDs increases the overall sale of a song by 25% on average. The B-Sides will be Instances, Thus Far and Those Anythings. It is also thought that there will be another mix of 'Overrated' and the video on one of the CDs. Full tracklisting details will be announced soon.

Siobhan featured on the front page of 'Music Week'
Siobhan is featured in the new issue of Music week - A small picture is on the front page which says how she is doing a small tour of gigs around the country to promote awareness for her as a solo artist and her album 'Revolution In Me'. Inside there is a bigger picture of Siobhan with more information and a quote from Siobhan's manager saying that she is a live artist and is not following the pop route. Siobhan cancels gig
It has just been announced that Siobhan Donaghy has cancelled the gig at The Forum on June 27th. This is due to unforeseen circumstances, and a new date has unfortunately not been announced. It's a shame because that's where I was going to see Siobhan but nevermind...

New tour date
I have just recieved news that Siobhan will be performing on June 27th at The Forum in Tunbridge Wells on the second date of her UK Glastonbury Warm-Up gigs. 'Overrated' gets positive reviews from everywhere
Check out these magazines for reviews on Siobhans first solo single 'Overrated'. Top Of The Pops (In the Movers and Shakers section), Smash Hits, Gay Times, Boyz, and Out UK. They all have reviews of 'Overrated' and are all extremely positive - the feedback has just been amazing. Almost every review has said how fantastic 'Overrated' is and they also nearly always refer to 'Overrated' as a more mature and quite frankly better piece of music then the Sugababes' material. This is such fantastic news and I hope Siobhan has read these reviews as they are simply brilliant. If you can't get your hands on copies of these magazines (some are only available in London) then all the reviews along with pictures will be up on the site at the weekend in our new reviews section.

More song titles confirmed
From the programme from last nights Shanghai Nobody gig more song titles have been confirmed from Siobhan. They are 'Thus Far' and 'Those Anythings'. They are thought to also be B-Sides to 'Overrated' but this is not confirmed.

Overrated B-Side confirmed
The B-Side to Siobhans debut single 'Overrated' will be 'Instances' as originally announced on Siobhan Information World. The single will be avilable on the 23rd June.

Second and Third singles confirmed
Siobhan also announced that the second single to be lifted from her debut album 'Revolution In Me' will be 'Hate' released on 8th September. Followed by 'Iodine' Siobhans Christmas song - to be released in December. I think these are both fantastic choices for singles.

'Revolution In Me' Release confirmed
Siobhan cleared up some rumours last night by confirming that 'Revolution In Me' her debut album will be released on 15th September. Former rumours were about that the album would be released before that date in other European covers but this will not happen. It will be released in the UK first.

Shanghai Nobody Live at Upstairs@thegarage
Last night Siobhan played her exclusive showcase to Invite-only music executives. I was there and had a fantastic night and ther performance was amazing. The set list was as follows: Nothing But Song, Man Without Friends, Overrated, Little Bits, Hate, Iodine and Dialects. The set lasted for over half an hour and was a complete sucsess. I cant explain how wonderful and powerful her voice sounded and just how brilliant the material is. After the gig the party moved to popular bar Teatroes - where me Siobhan and her managers partied until about 2am.

'Overrated' Promo
I have just received the Promo CD for 'Overrated'. The CD contains 'Overrated'(Radio Edit) and 'Overrated' (Single Version). It includes a new photograph of Siobhan on the front which i will upload later in the week. It is a black cover with orange writing. It also confirms that 'Overrated' is written by Cameron McVey, Paul Simms and Siobhan Donaghy. And was produced by Cameron McVey. New tour dates
siobhandonaghy.com has reported that Siobhan will be playing on Tuesday 27 May 2003 at 'Upstairs At The Garage'. She will also be playing Tuesday 26th June 2003 at Barfly in Cardiff. Siobhan hits Radio 1
'Overrated' has been added to Radio 1's C-List. This is brilliant news for Siobhan as its only after the first full week its been on radio and hopefully next week it will move up. Also to be noted is that Mis-teeq have put back their new single to the week after 'Overrated's release so that's another band out Siobhans way... Anyway please phone up Radio 1 and request 'Overrated' the more feedback they get from people requesting the song the more likely they move it up to the B/A list and the more times it is played on radio.

Siobhan for Glastonbury?
Siobhan is performing a one-off gig billed as a Glastonbury Warm-Up event at the end of June. Siobhan will also be performing at the even in the 'New Artists' tent. This is not yet confirmed but looks likely to go ahead. 

Heat Loves Siobhan
Heat magazine have a small piece on Siobhan this week - It reads - Siobhan Donaghy was always our favourite Sugababes and we're thrilled that she's back on the scene, but it seems she's got a bit worthy while she's been away. The press release for her album tells us that it contains a song called Iodine which is about the politics of Bush and Blair but uses "The analogy of pre-Christmas turkeys". A bit different to singing "Round, round, round, round" like her former bandmates, eh?

Overrated release pushed back
The release of 'Overrated' has been pushed back by a week to the 23rd June. This is because the video took longer to edit then originally planned and only hit MTV etc. this week - This is better for Siobhan as more people will be able to hear the song before the release. 'Overrated' video premier on MTV Hits this Friday
A clip from the video to 'Overrated' was today shown on MTV. It featured Siobhan in heavy eye make up surrounded by loads of people. That's all the information we have at the moment, but today on MTV this message was put on the screen "Check out the exclusive premier of former Sugababes singer Siobhan Donaghy on MTV Hits this Friday". 

'Overrated' Looses out to Bitch from Brookie
'Overrated' was today on Capital FMs Spin It or Bin It section in which two songs that are released at the same time go head to head in a voting war to find out which song is going to be played. Unfortunately 'Overrated' lost out to Jennifer Ellison's new single 'Baby I Don't Care' (Which is to be noted a lame-ass cover of a fabulous old tune) Jennifer got about 70% of the votes but it should be noticed that hardly anybody has heard 'Overrated' before as the video has not yet premiered and Jennifer Ellison's video has been on high rotation for about four weeks. Capital did however play a short clip of 'Overrated'.

Siobhan announces more songs from her debut album.
More confirmed song titles from Siobhans debut as-yet-untitled debut album have been released. The complete set of known songs are 'Overrated', 'Nothing But Song', 'Instances', 'Iodine', 'Man With No Friends', 'Hate' and 'Speak The Truth'. The debut album is expected to be released after the first single Overrated.

Magazine Interview - The Face
 The Face magazine has a 6 page interview with Siobhan this month. It explains how she became hooked on antidepressants and how life with the Sugababes was hell for her. She also talks about her new album and direction and the magazine also has new pictures of Siobhan looking fantastic.
