One month after their first
meeting, Michael met some Winnipeg
cousins who were in DC for a meeting and they welcomed him to the family. The
fun part was they thought they were making a joke.

I have just a few relatives...

Michael flew to Winnipeg to get interrogated by Cara's family. They used the cover of another family wedding to lure him into their grasp. He managed to survive on his own for over 3 hours before Cara showed up to help protect him, or at least to share the questions.
Luckily Michael was only exposed to a few of the cousins, aunts, and uncles.
There were probably not much more than 30 or so for the first dinner at any rate.
Amazingly, Michael enjoyed the weekend and still thought that becoming legally bound to this family was a good idea.
