The Best and The Worst of the Miss Universe 2002
Best In National Costume
Miss Canada
Verna Neelam

It’s amazing how can anyone come up with such impressive maple costume. The design drew inspiration from the revered Canadian tree putting some vibrancy in it by adding a mardi gras touch without compromising the beautiful figure of Verna.
The Worst National Costume
Miss Israel
Yamit Har-Noy
Her plain white cloth is a bold canvass for showing the map of Israel at the front skirt (wait till we upload another angle of the picture) and it deliberately includes Gaza Strip, West Bank and Golan Heights. The message: Israel doesn’t care about peace.
Swimsuits!
The best: South Africa's Vanessa Carriera (left) for having a great body and displaying smart and confident moves.

The worst:
Northern Mariana's Virginia Gridley for displaying the massive flesh in her legs
Best in Gown
Miss Netherlands Kim Kotter

It’s a plain therefore not overdone clothing. Her white gown would even easily blend in with the rest but you can’t say “Look here’s another white gown” Kim carried her gown brilliantly sporting an au naturelle hair, generous slits on the bottom, vague symmetric design on top, sexy x-shaped straps on legs and a fresh sexy ramping onstage. The worst gown we've seen is that of
Eva Dzodlova of Slovak Republic whose juggernaut train deliberately defies modern-day fashion sense.
"When I say the wrong things"
Miss Russia Oxana Federova's succint reply to a rather unusual question on what makes her blush. She won the crown for that and eventually bagged this year's Best Interview of Missosology's Best and Worst
