WORK EXPERIENCES

          HC Investments (Shareholders: the IFC (World Bank) and Morgan Stanley) - Associate Financial Analyst & a Computer Programmer (dual responsibility) � Research Dept. (8/03 � Present):

o         Performed in-depth financial reports and analysis about selected blue chip corporations for presentation to foreign investment funds, management, brokers, and other parties.

o         Reports included topics such as historical performance examination, accounting policies employed, financial ratios, cash and liquidity management, inventory turnover, financial leverage, income and expenditure analysis, assessing the financial soundness of new/existing projects, investments in subsidiaries, consolidated entities, short and long term financing strategies, tax implications, depreciation and revaluation of long and short term assets, effect of dividends policy, foreign exchange and currency devaluation effects,  etc.

o         Conducted financial investigations and verified information with the companies� accounting and financial managers to ensure an impartial and accurate presentation of the company under study.

o         Developed complex financial programs to retrieve data from different databases in order perform financial calculations on historical data that are arduous to perform by spreadsheet applications.

          Oriental Weavers (Al Nasagoon Al Sharkeyoon), Business Analyst (1/03 - 8/03):

o         Member of a task group reporting directly to the CEO with the mission of renovating the corporation in accordance with the latest state of the art technologies and corporate systems.

o         Reviewed, developed, and recommended strategic management projects for OW.  

o         Represented OW in negotiations with potential vendors in Hanover, Germany.

          FinRate Consulting, Financial Analyst (1/98 - 8/00):

o         Involved in a wide spectrum of some 25 high profile consulting projects in Corporate Finance, Corporate Restructuring, Mergers, and Strategy Consulting.

o         The nature of assignments included soliciting new investors, boosting the financial performance, determining the financial needs, appraising new/existing endeavors, evaluating the company�s value, financial projections, and budgeting.

o         Performed complex financial modeling for prominent blue chip corporations, such as MobiNil, Orascom Telecom, Menatel, Olympic Group, and LinkDotNet.

o         Conducted a financial feasibility study about the construction of Samsung trucks in Egypt.

o         Partnered with EFG-Hermes in the IPO of Orascom Construction.

o         Gained a preliminary exposure to the essentials of the consulting business.
