At Service Artists, we provide quality performing opportunities for youth in plays any audience can enjoy. Each link provides information about the story, the cast, and set requirements. Productions are designed to be low-budget with emphasis on the actors' performances.

Pope Fiction: "Minnewaska Mischief"

Minnewaska Mischief
What bugs you about high school? "Some people take themselves so seriously!" "Some kids are built up by other kids being put down." "Popularity is a problem at every school." The first episode of Pope Fiction introduces Moira, Finnegan, Patience, John, and Elliott, five teenagers from Pope County, Minnesota who meet in detention and make plans to use the internet to protest injustice at their school. Do you believe everything you read? What if the whole world is reading it... and it's about you?

Pope Fiction: "Shorty's Ghost"

Shorty's Ghost
Do you believe in ghosts? What about looking out for your neighbors, particularly the elderly? When the Pope Fiction teenagers spot a spirit rising out of a swamp, they uncover more than they bargained for and confront their fears about fighting evil. Inspired by actual events and produced through a Lake Region Arts Council Career Development Grant.

About the playwright: Rebecca Webb received her B.A. in Theatre and Education from Wellesley College and her Masters of Liberal Studies with an emphasis on theatre and education from the University of Minnesota.
