| The 2/5BZ has been set up in 1986,by Serhat Köksal.It made audiotapes,photocopyzines,films,stickers,CDR,flyers,DVD,posters,..etc and performed concerts with saz,sampler,mixer,tape,electronics,..etc, self made montage films . From 1991 on,2/B5Z published its products by itself.In away,-tried to create its own media and copied/distribute or sometimes trade these products under very simple circumstances. 2/5 BZ performed 'NO Turistik NO Egzotik Electro Folk Cut' in 55 cities in countries like Switzerland,France,Belarus,Holland,Belgium, Usa,Germany,Poland,Austria,Russia apart from Turkey it s called ' 2/5BZ union in eurOPUA tour' and performed/participated to some international Festivals like Berlin Club Transmediale03 Festival,Amsterdam World Wide Video Festival,Istanbul Phonem(Turkish Head liner)Festival, St Petersburg SKIF 7 Festival, Rotterdam Music Bienal ,New York Video Film Festival ,Rotterdam Film Festival ,Belarus Subculture Festival, Austria Diagonale Festival ,Brussel Arabesk Festival ,Amsterdam Test-Portal Festival ,Ludwigsburg Europian Film Bienale, Istanbul Bienale and have been aired on countless radio stations around the world (WFMU,BBC,RCV,Radio1.cz ,FSK,VPRO,DR) and Channel 4 TV in u.k.He have twice 'Peel Session' in BBC Radio 1 The style varies between traditional music,via experimental electronic sounds, to improvisation with elements that stem fromTurkish cinema. 2/5BZ aka Serhat Köksal composed musics for some international experimental films from Germany,Iran,Switzerland and make sound art + video installation + performances in exhibitions like in Garz (Austria) ,Berlin Bethanien,Holon (Israel),Maastricht (Holand),Karlsruhe (Germany) ,Istanbul Proje4L,Munich (Germany) ,Berlin Martin Groipus Bau Museum and living/working in Istanbul |

| Serhat Koksal has continued to develop his multimedia project 2/5BZ ,initiated in Istanbul in 1986, up until present day ,expressing himself in a wide range of media forms.Besides audiovisual performances like ' NO Touristik NO Egzotik ' which have been shown internationally on 17 country 82 cities , Serhat Koksal has produced an uncountable number of Tapes, CDs ,Video-Collages ,performances ,DVDs ,Vinyls ,Stickers ,Posters and Copy-Zines since 1991 . In his project '' NO Pipeline NO Exotic'' ,Serhat Koksal aka 2/5BZ illuminates the common cultural cliches between Orient and Occident in a critical and humorous way, investigating their effects on people's economic or political situation and individual states of mind . He employs collage and cut-up techniques, found film material, outdoor shots and samples. The project concentrates on concepts such as ''Cultral Pipeline '' and '' Energy Dialogue'' since 2007 begin ,presenting them Sound Performance and Planetcore live visuals on Italy, Sweden ,Germany ,Czech Republic ,Austria ,Iran ,Poland ,Russia ,USA ,Belgium Holland , Belarus ,Switzerland ,France ,Latvia ,Denmark .Serhat Koksal aka 2/5BZ is co-curator of the International Roaming Biennial of Tehran and have interview with John Peel on 1994 for BBC world Service and have two times '' Peel Session '' in BBC Radio 1 and have interview about Turkish Pop Cinema on Channel 4 TV ( Mondo Macabro television series 2001 ) and have selection in first wide-ranging book quide of audiovisual art and VJ culture in 2006 . Project presenting on the subject of Turkish Pop Cinema and Deconstruction, Exotic Tourism and Anti-City myths,Copy Culture and Remakes, critical sound art and audiovisual experimentation using found footage, field recordings and samples - in short: a critical and humorous re-use of mass culture .
